Gray Matters Collective: Haley Degreve
Haley Degreve will present on self-care and mental health at a meeting of the Gray Matters Collective.
The collective is a mental health campaign that seeks to initiate conversation around the gray area between mental health awareness and mental health stigma.
Degreve is one of the founders of the Gray Matters Collective, which began at Augustana College in 2018.

In recognition of Constitution Day Sept. 17, Augustana students will gather on the Viking Plaza to address their favorite parts of the 234-year-old document.
National Coming Out Day presentation
Chase Norris, executive director of Clock, Inc., will discuss "LGBT Basics" in this presentation focused on increasing awareness related to these identities.
Clock, Inc. is a local community center for LGBT+ people.
Javier Ávila: The Perfect Latino
Author, professor and poet Javier Ávila will bring his one-man show, “The Perfect Latino,” to campus in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month. The show offers a close examination of the American Latino experience.
With his statement, “Cultures first collide before they merge,” Ávila takes the audience on a journey as he navigates a world of misunderstandings and misconceptions. As he moves between cultures, Ávila provides a fascinating perspective of what it means to balance assimilation with cultural preservation.
