The Society for Anthropology and Sociology Students will discuss plans for the rest of this semester, including a sociology/anthropology-themed bingo and opportunities to partner with local organizations to carry out a group service project.

Communication studies and journalism open house

The departments of communication studies and multimedia journalism invite interested students to an open house from 11:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. Meet professors, ask questions and learn more about the programs. Students may choose to fill out a major or minor declaration form.

Harb received a master's in public health from the University of Iowa in 2017. She is a student doctor at at A.T. Still University of Health Sciences in Kirksville, Mo.

Dr. Deke Gould will begin the Civil Discourse series by presenting "The Place of Logic and Respectful Disagreement."

Philosophy and logic offer some time-tested lessons on how to pursue conversations about important topics; this session will survey some of those lessons.
