Dr. Erin Kempker will start at the college Feb. 3 as the inaugural director of the Center for Engaged Learning, Teaching, and Scholarship.

Augustana’s Barbara A. Roseman Center for Speech, Language, and Hearing is offering assessment appointments for individuals with tinnitus interested in using the FDA-approved Lenire treatment device. The device combines audio through wireless headphones and mild pulses to the tongue.

Seven Augustana students were chosen to display their art in the 2024 College Invitational at the Figge Art Museum in Davenport, Iowa. Eight area colleges and universities participate in this bi-annual show.

Five more Vikings named Academic All-Americans — 183 total

Five student-athletes — from hometowns in Illinois, Hawai'i, Texas and Tennessee — are the college's most recent Academic All-Americans. Now with 183 Academic All-Americans, Augustana ranks 14th among the NCAA’s 1,100 schools in DI, DII and DIII across the country.

What I learned my first year at Augustana

During my first year of college, I learned many valuable things that I will hold onto for the rest of my life. I gained insights into independent living, effectively managing my time to complete school tasks and building connections through friendship experiences.
