Dr. Gauri A. Pitale, an accomplished educator with extensive experience in DEI programming and advising student clubs and organizations, will join the college Feb. 29 to lead Augustana’s Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

The many reasons to give back

The reasons alumni and friends of the college choose to give to Augustana are varied. Some are following the example of a family member; others simply want to give back to a place that gave them so much. And others have a desire to help a specific group of students or a meaningful program.

Why I love being part of a cultural community

The Vietnamese Student Association (VSA) is one of several Asian organizations we have on campus at Augustana. Our organization allows for the celebration and awareness of Vietnamese culture through the leadership of current students, such as myself and others.
