Kristy Lear Blue has joined Augustana in a new position: director of admissions–West Coast. She will lead Augustana’s effort to recruit students in California and other western states. Blue, who has admissions experience at the University of Minnesota, also will work with alumni in California and other western states.

College recognized for emergency preparedness efforts
Augustana was recognized for its emergency preparedness efforts by the Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA) and National Weather Service - Quad Cities office. Representatives from both agencies were on campus for a joint press conference to announce the new designations for the college.
