The event, which will include up to 100 students and nearly 30 volunteers, highlights the struggles and challenges faced by individuals who are transitioning from incarceration back into their communities.
Now an Iowa College of Law student, former Vikings basketball standout Alexis Jones '20 continues to make a difference. She has immersed herself in promoting diversity and supporting minority law students.

Students in this program will complete two years at Augustana College and two years at Trinity College of Nursing & Health Sciences. They are assured a place in the Bachelor of Science Nursing program at Trinity College and will benefit from faculty co-advisors.
Auditions for "The Queen of the Greeks," an original play directed and written by Jean Tegtmeyer, will be held on Friday, March 8, from 8-10 a.m. in the Brunner Theatre Center's Black Box, and from 6-8 p.m. at the Wilson Center.
Dining Services will have special hours for spring break 2024.
With the Iowa caucus fast approaching, Augustana will hold a discussion about the implications of the election for Christians, Jews and Muslims on Monday, Jan. 18 at 7 p.m. in Wallenberg Hall.
The discussion will be led by Imam Saad Baig from the Islamic Center of the Quad Cities, Rabbi Jeffrey Lipschultz from the Tri-City Jewish Center and Pastor Richard Priggie from Augustana.
Students interested in playing or learning to play pickleball are more than welcome to attend. We are very accepting to students of all skill levels. Paddles, balls and nets are provided, but feel free to bring your own equipment if it works better for you!
