Residence hall storage information and signup

Summer storage is available to on-campus students living more than 400 miles from campus who will be living on campus in the fall. Storage is limited to three sealed boxes per student.

Students living on campus during the summer may not use summer storage.

Storage is in the basements of Swanson and Erickson Halls. Students may request summer storage through the housing self-service portal beginning in late April.

Students may deposit items in storage from 8 a.m.-7 p.m. Wednesday through Friday the week of spring exams, 9 a.m.-noon that Saturday, or by appointment.

Residential Life staff are not able to physically assist with moving boxes in or out of the storage room.

All stored items must be sealed in a box or plastic tote and clearly labeled with name, ID number, home address and cell phone number.

Furniture such as couches or futons, and appliances such as microwaves and refrigerators are not allowed. Flammable liquids and other incendiary/hazardous items, food, loose lumber, or anything that's deemed dangerous by college staff at the time of storage are not allowed.

Students are storing these items at their own risk. The college will not cover repair or replacement costs of damaged items. Students may wish to avoid storing valuables.

Storage space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis for those who will be living in residence halls.

Students can pick up boxes in storage  by contacting the CA on duty after 7 p.m. or when the desk is open.

Abandoned items not being picked up by the end of the  school year will be donated to Gus's Garage sale.
