Viking Connections: Eddie Marske
Eddie Marske is an environmental specialist for a steel manufacturer. Marske's job is to ensure the company is in line with both federal and state regulations by working with agencies to ensure the company is in compliance with the laws and regulations. Other aspects of the job include data collection, pollution monitoring, hazardous waste tracking, training, attending conferences and industry meetings.
"The field is ever-growing and there are many new opportunities for students to achieve their goals as well as make an impact on the world. I vividly remember graduating from Augustana and I loved what I learned but did not know what I wanted to do. My goal is to help students find what they want to do and use what they learned at Augustana to help be the best they can be."
