Viking Connections: Matthew Koch
Matthew Koch is a Healthcare Consultant with Huron Consulting Group in Chicago, Ill., where he specializes in health system revenue cycle performance improvement and financial sustainability. His expertise includes patient access and financial counseling, health information system design and optimization, and operating model standardization. Outside of work, he competes in endurance sports and enjoys cooking, traveling, reading, live music, and tending to his family’s farm in southwest Wisconsin.
"I was a member of one of the first cohort of Public Health students at Augustana and in many ways had to create my own path forward while the program was still in its infancy. I'm happy to discuss careers in healthcare that aren’t involved in patient care, especially for students interested in healthcare management, health system administration, and/or consulting."
