Summer travel canceled; fall programs open

The Office of International and Off Campus Programs and program leaders have decided to cancel their summer programs.

The Science of Climate Inequity

Dr. Jeremy Hoffman ’11 will present "The Science of Climate Inequity" for the Udden Geology Club Lecture Series.

DIY hanging air plant

The Office of Student Inclusion and Diversity will host a DIY hanging air plant event at Casa Latina from 7-9 p.m.

Women’s History Month celebration

The Office of Student Inclusion and Diversity invites you to stop by the office in Gerber 420 for a Women’s History Month celebration from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

Sociology and Anthropology Club (SASS)

Students that have an interest in sociology and/or anthropology are invited to attend the first meeting of the semester to learn more about the club along with some exciting events they will be working on.

"Reducing Stress with Effective Time Management"

The Learning Commons invites students to attend the first of their Well-being labs series. They will discuss effective time management strategies to help reduce stress.

Bingo

The Office of Student Life invites all students to a game of bingo. Masks and social distancing are required and will be enforced.

Peace Corps informational meeting

The office of advising from CORE is excited to invite students to attend an informational meeting with a speaker from the Peace Corps to give students the opportunity to learn more about serving in Peace Corps.

Personal finance workshop

Bryce Palar, assistant professor of business, will discuss personal finance topics for people in their early 20s such as budgeting, saving, investing, and borrowing/debt.

Spread the Word panel

Spread the Word to End the Word is a campaign to raise awareness of the hurtful effects of the r-word and encourage people to pledge to stop using it due to its hurtful and derogatory nature.
