As adults, students at Augustana College are expected to obey the law and to take personal responsibility for their conduct both on campus and in the community. The Augustana Code of Social Conduct specifies unacceptable behavior and provides standards which the Student Conduct Process shall enforce.

All events (other than regularly scheduled classes) should be reserved through the Astra request form. To find Astra, go to the Augustana website and click on the Current Students tab; Astra can be found under the "Quick Links" section. The number of academic credits assigned to a course is based on the amount of work required in the course.

In accordance with Department of Education regulations and the expectations outlined by the Higher Learning Commission, Augustana College defines a credit hour as the amount of work represented in the achievement of learning outcomes (verified by evidence of student achievement) that reasonably approximates direct faculty instruction and a minimum of two hours of out-of-class student work.
